Charlie LaGreca has spent the last two decades as a creator, organizer, producer, cartoonist, and artistic entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Comic Book Classroom, an NGO dedicated to using comic books to foster literacy and empowerment in socio-economically challenged schools. He is also the co-founder and organizer of Denver Comic Con, which in its second year has already broken into the top 5 most attended Comic Cons, with over 61,000 in attendance.
La Greca has worked professionally in the illustration and comics industry for 17 years. His work can be seen in comics, magazines, newspapers, TV, digital media, ad campaigns, branding, corporate meetings, and live performances for such notable companies asDisney, Nickelodeon, DC Comics, Scholastic, Lego, Top Shelf Comics, Golden Publishing, Fortune Magazine, Fuse TV, Versus TV,Tour de France, Allied Waste, Starwood Westin Hotels, and many more.
La Greca has produced everything from small theatrical productions out of NYC with the Upright Citizens Brigade (Amy Poehler), Gotham City Improv, as well as several off-Broadway productions which included Minimum Wage with executive producer Ken Dennison of The Lion King. He has also produced and performed in countless corporate productions for such companies as BMW, Listerine, Redken, and more
Jeff LaGreca is an NYC creative professional who has worked in many capacities including Writer, Director, Producer and Event Manager. He is a founder and producer on Rock Comic Con, a nationally based music concert that has had successful runs in NYC and Denver. He is a partner and founder of BurgerBoy Productions, which specialized in theater production for both the creative and corporate arenas. Jeff has written and/or produced corporate shows for a myriad of clients, among them are BMW, Gillette, Staples, Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter, Pfizer, Bombardier, KPMG, Redken, Nabisco and many more.
He has worked as a voice Talent Coordinator and Casting Director for Sound Lounge NYC and has Project Managed and written for the Gentile Entertainment Group and Lead Dog Marketing. He is a writer/producer on the short films, The In-Betweeners, Burgerboy Monologues and Junkhole, and independently published the Obama Card Game for the 2008 Inauguration.
He’s currently working on his first YA Novel and plays in two nerd rock bands, H2Awesome and Daenerys and the Targaryens.
Hailing from the great state of Massachusetts, Jon has done a lot of weird and creative things in his life. Between writing the comic book, MAGUS, to co-founding the nerd rock band H2Awesome!, and the nerd rock festival, ROCK COMIC CON, Jon is never comfortable working on just one thing. Jon currently calls Denver home while spending a little too much time fawning over the ever-winning Tom Brady.
Sara Wilson is recently back in her home state of Colorado after a decade of various project management roles in NYC, Virginia, and South East Asia which included jaunts into the worlds of event production, international development, university admissions, and digital marketing. She is currently the Logistics Director for the new Denver Independent Comic and Art Expo as well as Producer/Host of the local boozy lecture series Nerd Nite Denver, both of which have been featured several times in local media.Sara sports an eclectic academic background in mediation, gender dynamics, and early education from George Mason University and, above all else, an unapologetic love of science and sci-fi. She lives in Denver with her half-demon, half-adipose felines Cheryl and Angus.
